Well, I'm feeling productive!

I got many many things accomplished yesterday, including:
a) Realized that I need to give Carleton my end-of-year transcripts before I can register, but Mom will take them in person, as she is going to Ottawa tomorrow.
b) Found an on-line course calendar.
c) Received a handbook from the School of Social Work telling me what courses I need to take. (So far I have 3.0 out of 5.0 credits taken care of: Introduction to Social Work and Social Welfare, Psychology 1000, and Sociology 1000. That only leaves me with two more spaces, so I want to register in half year courses so I can take more stuff, because, as Hermione would say, "I love to learn!")
d) Learned that I need to register on August the 2nd at approximately 8:30 a.m., on-line. I will be at camp, but will wrangle Anthony or Lorna's computer.
e) Packed up my dressy clothes, skating and dance stuff and my winter stuff, and am sending them with Mother when she goes.
f) Did camp laundry. Tidied room.
g) Bought groceries so I can make food while Mother is in Ottawa.
h) Reactivated bank account. Banked paychecks. Have nearly $2000 in there, now!
i) Got 8 big heavy books from library that I cannot possibly ever finish in the four days remaining in my week off. But oh well.

Things I did not get accomplished:
a) Seeing the baby!!!!!!! Aaaauuugggghhhh! Annette still hasn't returned my call, but told Nicky we should come this morning, and then he didn't bother waking me up, so we didn't go see the baby again, cause he had to go to work and I had to go run errands with Mom. And I don't want to be a pest and phone again, because he's probably asleep and I don't want to bother them. I'll just sit here alone and read my books. *pouts*

Speaking of which, anyone up for an adventurous adventure downtown, maybe? I want to go visit Kerrin tomorrow. And maybe Caitlin, if you're working, are you working? So I was thinking about shopping, but then I realized I need shorts and a bathing suit, and shoppnig for these items is often arduous and depressing. So I'll go for those another time. The point is, I have $1800 in my bank account and I feel like going downtown and enjoying it. Plus I've been rather hermitish the past few days, and feel like joining the human race again. Jill, you're coming. I'm kidnapping you. No excuses this time. Ellen, you're coming. Whether you like it or not.
But naw, it'll be fun. We can do touristy things. And piratey things. And crazy things. So, whomsoever reads this journal, come one, come all!!!!
Now, the logic hits...OK, probably the best thing to do if you're available and feel like adventuring is to call me. And maybe we can meet on the bus, or if you don't live in the vicinity of the 21 bus, you can come to my house, then take the bus. Or maybe we can get our hands on some Floo powder, and travel through the fireplaces! That would be so much easier!
Anyway, I'm going to go read my many books now. Call me. You know who you are.
